For vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in preventing disease caused by Clostridium chauvoei (blackleg), Cl. septicum (malignant edema), Cl. haemolyticum (red water), Cl. novyi (black disease), Cl. sordellii (sord/gas gangrene) and Cl. perfringens Types B, C and D (enteritis and enterotoxemia). Although Cl. This bovine clostridial combination vaccine contains killed cultures and requires reconstitution with the included sterile diluent prior to administration. One Shot Ultra 8 should be administered subcutaneously to cattle, with a second dose 4-6 weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. May be administered to beef and dairy cattle of any age, including pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows. Do not administer within 21 days before slaughter.

Dosage: Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried bacterin-toxoid (One Shot Ultra 8) with the accompanying vial of diluent (UltraChoice 8), shake well, and administer 2 ml subcut. Healthy cattle should receive a second 2 ml dose of UltraChoice 8 in 4-6 weeks. For Cl. haemolyticum, repeat the dose every 6 months in animals subject to reexposure. Annual revaccination with UltraChoice 8 is recommended.
