The float is completely enclosed in a rugged, plastic housing and will not sink over time. The galvanized guard is specially designed to protect rubber, plastic or structural-foam tanks. Recommended for 100-300-gallon tanks. 6-foot cord with durable anti-rub protector. 1500 Watts, 120 Volts, 60 Hz. This deicer has a rugged enclosed float that is designed to withstand the elements and is extremely durable. It keeps the deicer at the surface of the water in all conditions.
