Huvepharma Di-Methox (Sulfadimethoxine) Injection 40% [250ml]
Sulfadimethoxine 40% Injection is used to treat foot rot, diphtheria in calves, and transport fever complex in dairy and beef cattle. Antibiotics are injected intravenously in a single dose for quick absorption. There are 400 mg of sulfadimethoxine in each milliliter. An efficient remedy for necrotic pododermatitis (foot rot), bacterial pneumonia linked to Pasteurella spp. sensitive to sulfadimethoxine, bovine respiratory disease (brd) caused by shipping fever complex, and calf diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum (Spherophorus necrophorus) sensitive to sulfadimethoxine.
Directions: Give 1 mL per 16 lbs body weight intravenously as an initial dose, then 0.5 mL per 16 lbs once daily for 3–5 days. Milk must not be used for food during treatment or for 60 hours after the last dose. Do not administer within 5 days of slaughter.
