Flunazine is an injectable solution for horses that is recommended for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorder. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is also recommended for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic in horses. Flunazine is a potent medication that provides relief from pain in as little as 15 minutes after administration. It is safe to use as it is non-narcotic, non-steroidal. 50 mg/ml Flunixin. Flunazine, the generic version of Flunix, is indicated for the control of pyrexia associated with swine respiratory disease. Each ml of Flunazine contains flunixin meglumine equivalent to 50 mg flunixin and provides quantifiable drug concentration in as little as 20 minutes following injection. Non-narcotic and non-steroidal, there are no known contraindiciations when used as directed. Recommended dosage for swine is 2 mL per 100 lbs body weight given by IM injection in the neck.

Dosage: Horses: 1 ml / 100 lbs once daily IM or IV may be repeated for 5 days. Cattle: 1-2 ml / 100 lbs by slow IV injection once daily or in divided doses twice daily for up to 3 days.

Indications
Horses:
Flunazine is recommendd for the alleviation of inflammation and associated pain in musculoskeletal diorders in the horse.
Flunazine is also recommended for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic in the horse.

Cattle:
Flunazine is indicated for the control of pyrexia associated with Bovine Respiratory Disease. Flunazine is also indicated for the control of pyrezia and inflammation associatd with endotoxemia. In clinical studies, flunixin meglumine injectable as an adjunct to antibiotic therapy with oxytetracycline has been demonstrated to control pyrexia associated bovine respiratory disease.
