EnroMed 100 [100 mL]

Rx EnroMed 100 is a sterile, ready-to-use injectable antimicrobial solution containing enrofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is FDA approved for the treatment and control of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) in cattle and swine respiratory disease (SRD), and for the control of colibacillosis in weaned swine when diagnosed.

Each mL of EnroMed 100 contains 100 mg of enrofloxacin. Inactive substances include L-arginine base, n-butyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol (as a preservative), and water for injection.

Indications: Cattle: Treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle. Control of BRD in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle at high risk of developing disease. Swine: Treatment and control of swine respiratory disease (SRD) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Streptococcus suis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Control of colibacillosis associated with Escherichia coli in groups or pens of weaned pigs where disease has been diagnosed.

Directions: Cattle: Single-Dose Therapy: 7.5–12.5 mg/kg (3.4–5.7 mL per 100 lb) administered subcutaneously. Multiple-Day Therapy: 2.5–5 mg/kg (1.1–2.3 mL per 100 lb) administered subcutaneously once daily for up to 5 days. Do not exceed 20 mL per injection site. Swine: Single dose of 7.5 mg/kg (3.4 mL per 100 lb) administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously behind the ear. Do not exceed 5 mL per injection site.
