Durvet 001-4507 Styptic Powder [1.5 oz]
Styptic Powder can be used to stop bleeding caused by nail trimming, beak trimming, tail docking and minor wounds in dogs, cats and birds.
Directions: Use benzocaine as a topical anesthetic and anti-itch medication. Apply with moistened cotton applicator to the cut nail or other superficial bleeding area. Use moderate pressure for 5 to 10 seconds. Use pressure bandaging in conjunction with product following tail docking.
Warnings: External use only. This product should not used for deep, severe wounds or burns. Contact a veterinarian if desired results are not obtained.
