DMSO is used as a topical anti-inflammatory, an osmotic diuretic and a solvent. DMSO readily penetrates all body tissues including intact skin. Helps treat pain and swelling associated with tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, and other autoimmune disorders. Helps encourage the rapid absorption of medications into the skin. Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic substance derived from wood pulp during the manufacturing process. May be used on horses, dogs and cats.

Caution: Keep DMSO Gel out of the reach of children. DMSO Gel is recommended for topical application only. DMSO Gel should not be used under occlusive dressings. DMSO Gel is contraindicated in horses and dogs intended for breeding purposes. DMSO Gel is a potent solvent and may have a deleterious effect on fabrics, plastics and other materials. Care should be taken to prevent physical contact with DMSO Gel. DMSO Gel should not be administered to horses that are to be slaughtered for food.
