For vaccination of healthy susceptible cattle and swine of all ages as an aid in the reduction of the 5 most common strains of lepto – L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis), L. pomona, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola and L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and for the prevention of urinary shedding of L. hardjo in cattle. L. hardjo is the serovar primarily responsible for chronic infections. Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure. CITADEL protects cattle against L. canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae and L. pomona. It also prevents urinary shedding of L.borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis), the serovar commonly responsible for chronic infection in herds. Citadel is approved for cattle of all ages.

Leptospira canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhaeiae and ponoma Bacterin. Five way protection against abortions caused by lepto in swine and cattle. Vaccinate breeding animals 5-6 weeks before breeding with a second dose given 14-28 days later. Revaccinate annually. Dose 2 mL SQ or IM.
