This universal drain plug de-icer mounts securely into the tank's drain hole to keep the heating element away from livestock. Durable stainless steel heating element is thermostatically controlled and features over-temperature protection for safe, efficient operation. Safe for horses and other livestock, and safe in both plastic and metal tanks. Recommended tanks 100-300 gallons. Includes a patented cord that detaches to pass through a drain hole. 6-foot cord with durable anti-rub protector. LOCKNDRY compatible. cULus Listed. 1500 Watts, 120 Volts, 60 Hz. Fits all stock tanks that have 3/4" drain holes. The power cord separates to fit through small drain holes. By mounting through the drain hole, the electrical cord is kept out of the water.
