21" Hobble Split-Stop

This Cow Hobble is made of sturdy 21" strapping with generous stitched-on strips of hook-and-loop material. When properly placed on hind legs this hobble prevents slipping and splaying of legs and is especially useful when hindquarters have been weakened by calving. Secure and comfortable lightweight easy to put on and washable. Nickel-plated hardware. Strong, yet lightweight cow hobble providing ideal protection against slipping and splitting out in all conditions (post-calving weakness, restraining unruly animals, etc.). One-piece design that features easy-on and easy-off Velcro securing leg straps. Available in 2 widths for customizing cow comfort; they allow a 21” spread so cows can walk freely. The nylon material is strong but soft, similar to automobile seat belts to reduce skin chaffing and rubbing. Nickel-plated hardware resists corrosion and is strong and durable.
Fasten to the cow’s ankles. Adjust to a narrower setting to prevent kicking (still give enough freedom to walk). Set a wider setting after difficult calving or post milk fever.
